ADC Training Supervisor Meets with Criminal Justice Educators

After expressing that their students have taken an interest in the field of corrections, ADC’s Training Supervisor, Delilah Ingram, was invited to speak to a group of criminal justice educators today at the Arkansas Department of Career Education in Little Rock. The idea of adding courses in corrections to their educational curriculum is being explored, which would give students an additional career avenue within the law enforcement field to consider. Some of the topics discussed included potential courses that could be offered, correctional facility tours for high school students, pay incentives, retirement/medical benefits, and the many advancement opportunities that ADC has to offer. We’re excited to help open the door to a future generation of correctional employees!
