FACE MASKS HELP SLOW THE SPREAD OF COVID-19
The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) recommends wearing cloth face coverings (masks) to help slow the spread of COVID-19. They offer a great online resource with helpful information on the wear and care of cloth face coverings, as well as how to make them (even if you can’t sew).

INMATE VISITATION SUSPENSION EXTENDED TO JUNE 1, 2020
Our continuing efforts to slow the spread of COVID-19 within our facilities has called for the Arkansas Department of Corrections to extend the suspension of inmate visitation until June 1, 2020. The suspension includes all prisons and community correction centers, and it applies to regular and special visits.
LOWER RATES FOR PHONE CALLS, VIDEO VISITS, AND EMAILS REMAIN IN EFFECT
Because we want you to remain in touch with your loved one during this time, lower rates for phone calls, video visitation and emails will remain in effect until June 1 as well.

In an effort to provide timely and accurate information regarding the impact of COVID-19 on our operations, the numbers of positive DOC-related COVID-19 cases under quarantine will be posted here each Tuesday and Friday:
The groups referred to in the above chart are broken down as follows:
• Inmates (Includes Residents in our Community Correction Centers and Supervision Sanction Programs);
• Facility Security Staff;
• Facility Non-Security Staff; and
• Non-Facility Staff (Includes Central Office Staff, Parole & Probation Officers, Teachers, etc.)
Each update will likely vary based on the number of positives under quarantine at that time.
